FlashAid Terms and Conditions

Welcome to FlashAid. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile application ("App"). By using our App, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the App.

2. Use of the App

2.1 Eligibility: You must be at least 16 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. 2.2 Account Registration: To access certain features of the App, you may need to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. 2.3 Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. 2.4 Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to: - Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws - Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App - Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App or its related systems - Use the App to transmit any harmful, offensive, or illegal content

3. Services

3.1 Emergency Response: The App allows you to summon a private ambulance to your location. You acknowledge that the availability of ambulance services may vary and that we do not guarantee immediate response times.. 3.2 Payments: Payments for services are processed through Stripe. By using the App, you agree to Stripe's terms and conditions and privacy policy. You are responsible for providing accurate payment information and ensuring sufficient funds are available. 3.3 AI-Driven Hospital Selection: The App uses AI to recommend hospitals. These recommendations are based on available data and do not constitute medical advice. You are responsible for making your own healthcare decisions. 3.4 FlashAid Premium: We offer a monthly premium subscription called FlashAid Premium, which provides a 50% discount on ambulance calls, free GP consultations, and free delivery of basic medicines. By subscribing to FlashAid Premium, you agree to the subscription fees and terms, which are available in the App.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Ownership: All intellectual property rights in the App and its content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by or licensed to FlashAid. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content from the App without our prior written permission. 4.2 User Content: You retain ownership of any content you upload or share through the App. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content in connection with the operation of the App.

5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

5.1 Disclaimers: The App is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the App, including but not limited to the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the App. 5.2 Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, FlashAid and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from: - Your use or inability to use the App - Any unauthorised access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein - Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the App - Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through the App by any third party

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FlashAid, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, if you breach any of these Terms or for any other reason. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. You are advised to review these Terms periodically for any changes. Your continued use of the App after any modifications to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
